Privacy notice

When you add a blind to your basket, the details you chose are saved in your web browser's local storage on your device. This includes the fabric and colour, the measurements and unit you entered, your fit, headrail, bracket, control and weight choices, and any room name you type in.

We ask you not to put personal details such as your name or address in the room name. You can leave it blank, and the shop will label your blinds "Blind 1", "Blind 2" and so on. Your basket can hold up to 20 blinds.

Your basket stays on your device and is not sent to us until you check out. It is only available in the same browser on the same device, and it will be lost if you clear your browser data or use private browsing. If you make no changes for 30 days, it is cleared the next time you visit.

At checkout we ask for your name, email, phone number and delivery address. We use these details only to make and deliver your blinds, to contact you about your order, and to meet our legal and accounting obligations.

If you save your details but do not complete payment, those details are deleted automatically after 24 hours.

Card payments are processed by SumUp. Your card details go directly to SumUp — we never see or store them. We receive only a payment confirmation and the amount paid.

We send order-related emails (for example order confirmation and dispatch notifications) using our email delivery provider, Resend. These emails are about your order only — we do not send marketing emails from this shop.

The basket uses browser local storage rather than a cookie. The shop's own pages do not add advertising or analytics tracking.

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or raise a concern, by emailing orders@daybreakblinds.co.uk. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
